The inspiration for the lounge was drawn from Playtech's Tallinn office interior design to raise awareness of our presence and image in Tallinn.

On November 14th, Playtech Estonia opened the Playtech’s Lounge at Tallinn University of Technology’s innovation and business centre Mektory.

The lounge is an open cooperation and leisure area that features work tables, LCD TV-screens for group work or presentations, and a cosy corner with armchairs and a coffee table.

The lounge is available for all the guests of TalTech Mektory building until spring 2022. The inspiration for the lounge was drawn from Playtech's Tallinn office interior design.

The opening event on November 14th was addressed to TalTech’s IT students to introduce Playtech as an employer, our employees’ stories on how to start a career in technology & IT sector and provide information on our internship possibilities.

The participants were all eager to learn more about Playtech and its internship and job opportunities. The opening event started with an intro of Playtech and was followed by a presentation from two of our new employees. Junior Java Developer Maria and Development QA Engineer Henri, who started off as interns in our Summer Internship Program and are now working full-time in the office. They spoke about the expectations versus reality of working in the IT & technology field – what to expect, how things are really like – and gave some recommendations for future interns.

Besides that, we had a Kahoot about Playtech with prizes and snacks & beverages to set the mood. Every participant left with a Playtech branded refillable water bottle as a gift.

We welcome everyone to spend time at Playtech's Lounge at Mektory! No pre-booking needed.
