*Rita Hallimäe, Product Manager at Playtech
15 years ago, as a happy coincidence, Rita found herself studying IT at the university. Towards the end of her Bachelor’s, she applied for a QA Engineer position at Playtech. She got the job, not in the unit she had applied to, but in IMS – the best department at Playtech that is designing the gaming industry’s most powerful player management system. Ten years and four positions later, Rita is a Product Manager in the same company, same unit and even in the same team, working with the most professional, international, supportive and diverse team she can wish for.
* Sigrid Pachel, Product Owner at PlaytechAfter Sigrid completed her Master’s in Estonian Language, she felt a relief that she never has to study again. For a while, she was eager to start her career as a proofreader and editor, but a heart-to-heart conversation with a close friend made her rethink if that is all she wants her career to be. This led Sigrid to one of the scariest decisions of her life – to taking up studies in IT systems development. Fast-forward two years, and this has proved to be one of the best decisions she has ever made – Sigrid got an internship in Playtech that turned into a full-time job, which last summer led to a promotion for the role of a Product Owner. So, Sigrid is a real life inspiration to everyone considering a change in their career path
